A figurative mural painted in 2024 by Rémi Tournier on a gable end of Rue du 19 Mars 1962, in the La Faye hamlet of Aurec-sur-Loire, for the Murmurs Aurec festival. Worked in acrylic with brush and roller, the composition stages an Afro girl in a bright red tracksuit, set in an ocean of book stacks with pink, brown and blue spines — a metaphor for the infinite journey that literature offers to whoever stays still. The piece ranked 13th best mural in the world for 2024 on Street Art Cities.
