Erik Verstrarte, better known as Erik Air, is a Spanish muralist born on 19 February 1990 in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, who grew up in the working-class Finca España district of La Laguna. Entirely self-taught, he discovered graffiti at age 11 in a school magazine and signed his first piece in 2003 — one of the first major figures of the Canarian street scene to emerge purely from the street…

A photo-realist mural of more than 500 square metres painted in 2024 by Erik Air across the walls of a petrol station on Calle las Adelfas, in the industrial zone of Arinaga (Agüimes, Gran Canaria). The composition unfolds in six portraits of children moving toward a luminous centre that symbolises energy: at the edges, monochrome faces marked by doubt and scepticism; at the centre, two children lit by an orange sphere they hold together. A metaphor for the principle of polarity, the piece ranked 11th best mural in the world for 2024 on Street Art Cities.

The artwork Energía is of type graffiti. You can admire it in the city of Agüimes in Spain, more precisely here: Calle las Adelfas 40, Polígono Industrial de Arinaga, 35118 Agüimes (Las Palmas).

This graffiti is also tagged as: energy, hyperreal, children, orb, portrait.
