A mosaic of over eight thousand hand-painted, kiln-fired ceramic tiles installed by FAILE in April 2012 across the façade of a building at 104 North 7th Street in Williamsburg, only steps from the duo's studio. Geometric patterns of diamonds, crosses and chequerboards combine in a pink, blue and beige palette, punctuated by the number 104 and the motto 'Brave / Lee / Strong'. Co-commissioned by Vice and 42Below Vodka, the piece embedded the collective's ceramic work permanently in the Brooklyn landscape.
