A typographic panel painted by RETNA in April 2012 on Crocker Street, at the corner of 5th Street in Downtown Los Angeles. The mural showcases the artist's invented alphabet - a hybrid of hieroglyphs, Arabic and Hebrew calligraphy, blackletter and the graphic codes of Californian gangs - laid out on a black ground with coloured highlights. The piece extends a portrait painted by El Mac on the adjacent façade, illustrating their long-standing collaboration around the city's Chicano iconography.
