Created for the Artscape 2021 festival in the Norra Sofielund neighborhood, this monumental mural by NeSpoon covers the gable of a red brick building with a large diagonal white lace pattern. The design is based on a traditional Swedish lace model from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, held in the collections of the Nordiska museet in Stockholm. The work combines a terracotta background with a light wash to create a delicate contrast between the building's rustic surface and the refined textile motif.
