Nawer

Nawer, born Łukasz Habiera, is a Polish artist and architect based in Kraków. Trained in architecture and urban planning, he has been active in street art since the mid-1990s. He works in an abstract, geometric language - playing with perspective, axonometry and rhythms of shape and colour - and is one of the pioneers of the "graffuturism" movement, which extends graffiti into contemporary painting. His vivid murals mark the walls of Kraków, notably at Forum Przestrzenie, and he has exhibited internationally since the Futurism 2.0 group show (London, 2012). He works across many media, from murals to digital art and concrete casting.
