Biography
Mohamed L'Ghacham is a painter and muralist born in 1993 in Tangier, Morocco, and raised in Mataró, near Barcelona, where he is based. Having come from graffiti, he turned to a figurative painting rooted in realism and impressionism.
He is known for intimate murals depicting everyday scenes - family meals, domestic moments, gatherings around a table - often based on old photographs. His visible brushwork and texture bring easel painting to the scale of a wall.
His works appear at festivals around the world, from Morocco to Sweden, France, Italy and Georgia.
