Biography
Taquen is a Spanish muralist based in Madrid. His work explores movement, change and our bond with the living world, which he sees as a tool for positive transformation.
In a geometric style of soft facets and muted tones, he often depicts animals in motion - birds, horses - and themes of migration, nature and collective memory. He also extends his practice into ceramics and running-related projects.
His murals appear across Spain and internationally, often as part of collaborative processes with local communities.
