Biography
My Dog Sighs is a British street artist based in Portsmouth, active for over twenty years. A pioneer of the 'Free Art Friday' movement, he long left small works painted on flattened cans in the street, free for anyone who found them.
He is best known for his giant hyperrealistic eyes, whose irises reflect cityscapes and intimate scenes, painted straight onto building façades. His work combines photorealistic technique with a tender message about people and the city.
His murals - sometimes monumental and realistic, sometimes naïve and carrying messages of hope - appear across the UK and beyond.
