Zes

Zes, also known as Zeser, is an American graffiti artist from Los Angeles. He joined the legendary MSK (Mad Society Kings) crew at fifteen - he is also tied to AWR and The Seventh Letter - and built a reputation as one of the city's most prolific writers, known for placing pieces in extreme spots such as ledges, billboards and the tops of buildings. Using paint rollers, acrylics and buff paint, he works in an abstract idiom of spontaneous textures and colour, at times embedding hidden letterforms in his compositions. In 2012 he carried his street practice onto canvas and began exhibiting in galleries, including the Saber-mentored "New Blood" show at Thinkspace. True to graffiti culture, he keeps his face and real name private.
