Biography
Ciclope is a duo of Argentine muralists formed by María Pilar Tolosa and Julián Facundo Razquin. A couple in real life, they have found an artistic symbiosis around a shared pictorial project centred on nature, its forces and its organic shapes.
Their visual grammar unfolds in very large stylised flowers — lilies, hibiscus, victoria regia — painted with stencil and roller on apartment-block gable ends, in acidic palettes that mix turquoise blues, saffron yellows and fuchsia pinks. The contrast between the botanical delicacy of the motif and the massive scale of the architectural support is the duo's signature.
They paint in Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico and Peru, and regularly take part in festivals in France (Minifest La Seyne-sur-Mer, Boulevard Paint Boulogne-sur-Mer), Spain and Italy. Their mural at Minifest 2024 in La Seyne-sur-Mer ranked 17th best mural in the world on Street Art Cities.
