Rémi Tournier

Rémi Tournier

Biography

Rémi Tournier is a French muralist based in Toulouse, active since 2007. From 2012 to 2021 he formed the SismikAzot duo, painting ten to fifteen murals a year across Europe and Africa, before pursuing a more personal, sensitive and poetic solo practice.

He works exclusively in acrylic, with brush and roller - never spray - and develops a figurative style influenced by urban art, at the crossroads of the classical and the contemporary. His preferred subjects are portraits of children and teenagers and everyday objects (books, instruments, toys), staged as intimate altars of a world in motion.

He paints across France (Toulouse, Aurec-sur-Loire, Boulogne-sur-Mer) and at European festivals. His Voyage immobile mural in Aurec-sur-Loire (2024) ranked 13th best mural in the world on Street Art Cities.
