Various & Gould

Various & Gould is a Berlin-based artist duo founded in 2005 when both artists met at the entrance examination for Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, where they graduated in 2010 under Professor Alex Jordan. Hailing from Düsseldorf and Berlin respectively, they work across screen-printing, collage, paste-ups and public installations. Their vibrant, typographically rich works address social and political themes including labour, migration, gender and inequality. Their best-known piece, "Face Time" (2015), is a 350-square-metre Dadaist patchwork mural at Moritzplatz, Berlin, that became a landmark of the city's street art scene.
