Michel Velt

Michel Velt is a Dutch muralist born in 1985 in Groningen. A graduate of the Minerva Academy in Autonomous Visual Art in 2006, he has practiced graffiti since the age of twelve. His work is recognised for monumental portraits and figurative compositions that blend nature, floral motifs and Art Nouveau / Jugendstil influences. His murals, often seven to ten metres tall, can be seen across the Netherlands (Groningen, Stadskanaal, Haren) and in Berlin (Arena Treptow, Teufelsberg, Charlottenburg), as well as in New York, Colombia and Japan.
