Cee Pil

Cee Pil is a Belgian artist born in Ostend in 1977 and based in Ghent. Known for his "optical glitch" technique, he layers and fragments animals — horses, rats, primates — into parallel bands that evoke both wood grain and digital displacement. Everything is painted freehand, without projectors or masking tape, a signature style that sits between photorealism and graphic abstraction. His monumental murals can be found in Ghent (DOK), Berlin (Teufelsberg) and several other European cities. He is represented by FitzContemporary and Wallin Brussels galleries.
