HOYA

HOYA is a Berlin-based street artist active since the mid-2010s, known for paste-ups and stencil works made with spray paint on kraft paper. His practice revolves around pared-down graphic silhouettes — pictograms, gorillas, urban figures — rendered in high-contrast palettes of black, pink and cyan that suggest a chromatic offset. His pieces are scattered across Berlin, especially Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg, and frequently engage with social themes such as gender identity and animal welfare.
