KOTTITAUBE

KOTTITAUBE is the street name of Till Jürgens, a Berlin-based graffiti artist and communication designer. Raised in Kreuzberg's Kottbusser Tor neighborhood during the 1980s, he draws both his alias and his signature motif from the area's urban pigeons — the "Kotti-Taube." His work spans classic lettering and stylized abstraction, informed by formal studies in communication design that extended his practice to 3D modeling, video animation, and virtual reality. His large-scale murals frequently feature the gray city pigeon as a symbol of urban freedom and resilience.
