Biography
Sonic One (Sven von Büren), born in 1970 in Biel, Switzerland, is a pioneer of Swiss graffiti and a legendary figure of the European scene since the 1980s. Active from 1983, he developed a refined style combining lettering, realistic portraits, and large-scale animal compositions. A regular at festivals such as Royal Arena (Biel, since 2003) and Berlin Rising, he painted in 2015 the black-and-white tiger "Kasi" at Teufelsberg, one of Europe's largest halls of fame. In 2016 he created a 25-metre-high memorial mural at Attysholz. His work has been featured in over 30 exhibitions across Europe.
