Biography
Felix Gephart, born in 1976 in Bochum, is a German artist and illustrator based in Berlin. He started painting graffiti at age 12 alongside his older brother Matthias, then studied graphic design in Münster and Dortmund before earning a Master's degree at New York's School of Visual Arts on a Fulbright scholarship. His figurative, expressionist style blends dark satire, Neue Sachlichkeit references and US underground comic influences. Beyond his murals, he is a regular illustrator for German publications (Die Zeit, TAZ, Cicero, Der Freitag) and has co-signed landmark Berlin walls with his brother, notably at the RAW Gelände.
