Biography
Alexander Isakov is a Berlin-based muralist originally from Hanover, Germany. Trained in lighting design with a focus on light art and installation, he has worked as a street artist since 2013, exploring the dialogue between architecture and ornament. His signature style combines intricate line patterns, stylised architectural shapes and bold color accents that reinterpret the buildings he paints. A co-founder of the GuapoSapo collective, he has produced murals across Berlin (Holzmarkt, Friedrichshain) and internationally in Serbia, the Netherlands, Mexico, the USA, Uganda and Rwanda.
