Biography
Borja "Cayn" Sánchez is a Spanish painter and muralist born in 1982 in Barcelona, where he started writing graffiti in 1999. Trained at the Llotja School of Illustration and Art, he earned a fine arts degree from the University of Barcelona in 2015. His practice blends graffiti, illustration and visual arts, exploring resilience, cultural heritage and human connection through realistic portraits painted on walls and discarded materials. Notable projects include Disposable Material — a series of portraits of homeless people painted in Tokyo — Earthlines and Cadavre Exquis.
