Biography
Hiroyuki Mitsume Takahashi is a Japanese illustrator and designer based in Tokyo, known for vividly coloured illustrations that fuse manga sensibility, pop culture, sci-fi imagery and otaku icons. His compositions are drawn entirely with a computer mouse in Adobe Illustrator, channeling the kinetic energy of Tokyo's club scene. He is in high demand with electronic music labels (Exbit Trax) and DJ event posters, and has appeared as a guest at Anime Expo (USA), Japan Expo (France), Seoul Illustration Fair (South Korea) and MaGnology (Germany). In 2022, his illustration "Ateities lietuvaitė" was transposed into a monumental mural in Vilnius by street artist Kipras Petrulis to mark the centenary of Lithuanian–Japanese friendship.
