Biography
Fresalpina (Julia) is an illustrator and muralist working in Rīga, Latvia. Her best-known piece, The Freedom Strawberry, is painted in the Tallinas Iela courtyard — a cultural space opened in 2017 inside a former industrial complex. Her practice blends female figures, natural motifs and gothic imagery in a distinctive white-ink illustrative line.
