Biography
Nicolas Poirier, who works under the name Bishop Parigo, is a French street artist based in the Paris region. Since the early 2000s he has shaped a distinctive visual world populated by whimsical creatures and round-eyed birds rendered in bright, playful palettes. His practice spans illustration, graphic design and large-scale mural work on canvas, concrete, wood and fabric. Notable projects include the permanent "Funny Birds" mural created in 2019 for the Mur Murs festival in Decazeville (Aveyron, France). He has also collaborated with brands such as Posca, Casio G-Shock, Eastpak and Cabaïa.
