Biography
Raks & Laune are a street art duo from Saarbrücken, Germany, born in 1987 and 1988. Friends since their teenage years, they started out in graffiti before attending the same art college and turning their craft into a career. Their individual signatures - Raks's graphic style combined with lettering, and Laune's figurative work shot through with abstraction and emotion - blend together in their collaborative pieces. Notable works include the "Liebespaar" facade on the Saarbrücken power plant (2013) and the "Die Suche" mural created for the city's Urban ArtWalk in 2017.
