Sen2

Sen2 (Sandro Figueroa Garcia) was born in 1969 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, and has lived in the Bronx, New York for over 30 years. A self-taught artist, he began painting walls at 15, co-founded the Mad Crew in Puerto Rico, and joined the world-renowned New York collective Tats Cru in 1986. His style evolved from classic wild-style graffiti into a fusion of graphic lettering, 3D elements, and pop art references (Warhol, Lichtenstein) - a 'beautiful chaos' of color and movement, featuring vintage cartoon characters and comic-style female figures. Since 2001 he has exhibited globally, including Art Basel Miami, the Völklinger Hütte Urban Art Biennale, and the Smithsonian Institution, with major commissions including the US Open's 50th anniversary courts (2018) and five murals for Royal Caribbean's Star of the Seas (2024).
