Biography

Remi Rough is a British abstract and graffiti artist born in 1971 in London and trained at Croydon School of Art. He began painting graffiti in South East London in the mid-1980s, moving from wildstyle lettering toward a refined geometric abstraction informed by Suprematism, Constructivism and Minimalism. A founding member of the international collective Agents of Change alongside LX.One, Steve More and Augustine Kofie, he has produced murals in cities across the world (London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Frankfurt, Paris, Tokyo, New York). Notable works include three walls painted with Banksy in 1999 (including Dogma), Fall of the Rebel Angels in Dulwich, and a 450 sqm mural opposite St Pancras International completed in 2012.
