Biography
Groek is a French graffiti and mural artist with a background in graphic design, trained in applied arts at ESAD Valence. A member of the Sorry Graffiti collective based in the Drôme region, he has developed an artistic universe that combines abstraction, color harmonies and figuration with a playful intent to disorient the viewer. His work draws on Japanese arts, tattoo culture and everyday life, producing a recognizable iconography of birds, fruit and bold geometric shapes. Notable works include Tiger Dazzle in the Villeneuve district of Grenoble (Street Art Fest 2017), Le temps des cerises, and Three words, dear Robin at the Joliot-Curie school in Vizille (2022).
