Biography
Olivia de Bona is a Parisian street artist and illustrator born in 1985. After graduating in Applied Arts and animation cinema in 2005, she has spent over 15 years developing a figurative practice that blends dreamlike imagery, nature, the female form, and references to Klimt and Matisse. Alongside her murals, she has revived the near-extinct 17th-century craft of straw marquetry, painstakingly assembling hand-colored straw strands onto wooden supports. A founding member of the 9e Concept collective, she has painted murals across Paris and throughout France and Europe, and exhibited internationally, including at Beers Gallery in London (2023).
