My Stencil

My Stencil is an anonymous French stencil artist based in Lyon. Embracing anonymity — he describes himself as being "between 20 and 70 years old" — he favours direct public expression over social media. His style blends pop-culture imagery with satirical messaging, with a recurring taste for cinematic homage. His mural Usual Suspects (2023), painted for Street Art Fest Grenoble-Alpes, reproduces the lineup scene from Bryan Singer's film as a black-and-white stencil topped by a red banner.
