Will Barras

Will Barras is a British artist born in 1973 in Birmingham and based in London, known for his figurative, narrative-driven style built on fluid, expressive line work. He co-founded the Scrawl Collective in Bristol in the late 1990s alongside Steff Plaetz and Duncan Jago, developing a visual world centered on movement, sport and urban life, populated by cyclists, dancers and suspended figures. Also an animation director, he has painted large-scale murals at international festivals including Grenoble Street Art Fest (2016, 2021), Upfest in Bristol and POW! WOW!. His landmark French piece, "Dropping the City", covers an entire façade in Grenoble.
