Biography
Kerim Mušanović was born in 1991 in Višegrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After studying at the High School of Applied Arts in Sarajevo, he earned a bachelor's degree and a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts Sarajevo in 2017. He began his street art career in 2012 by winning first prize in a 3D street painting competition in Sarajevo, quickly establishing himself as the only active anamorphic 3D street artist in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
His practice is defined by large-scale 3D compositions that create spectacular optical illusions, blending ocean imagery, marine fauna and abstract geometry. He has collaborated with festivals across Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Bulgaria, the United States and the UAE. In 2015, he contributed to the creation of the world's largest anamorphic ground painting certified by the Guinness Book of Records, in Florida. His work is displayed in optical illusion museums in Los Angeles and Sarajevo.
In 2019, he joined the Association of Fine Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina and was awarded the status of independent prominent artist in 2020. Since 2021, he has been a central figure of the FASADA festival in Sarajevo, helping transform the city's facades into an urban gallery dedicated to environmental issues.
