Biography
Superflinda is the artist name of Linda Söderholm, a Finnish graphic designer and visual artist. Her work is defined by bold colours, funky typography, and a distinctly retro aesthetic rooted in her involvement in hip-hop culture (breaking, DJing, graffiti). She works with both spray cans and traditional sign-painting techniques, combining these two worlds in large-scale murals.
Holder of a Master of Arts in New Media, Superflinda is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice covers illustration, graphic design, installation, hand-lettering, and public art. She has created works across several continents – Europe, Brazil, China, and West Africa – and regularly participates in festivals, artist residencies, and group exhibitions. She divides her time between Slovenia and Finland.
In 2023, she collaborated with Elina Holley on the EVOLVE mural at Metelkova, Ljubljana, bringing her expertise in monumental lettering to this floral and typographic composition created for the Ljubljana Street Art Festival.
