Alice Pasquini

Biography

Alice Pasquini, known as Alicè, is an Italian artist born in Rome in 1980. Holding a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and a master's in art criticism from the Complutense University of Madrid, she is now one of the few women to have established an international reputation in street art, with works in over one hundred cities across five continents.

Her practice explores female experience and human relationships, depicted through figures — often women and children — caught in intimate or contemplative moments. She favours vivid colours and an expressive line that draws equally from comics and classical painting. Among her notable projects are a permanent 3D installation for the Farnesina Collection, the founding of the CVTà Street Fest festival in 2016, and exhibitions at institutions such as the Saatchi Gallery in London and MACRO in Rome.

In 2023, she received the title of Knight of Merit of the Italian Republic. In 2024, she participated in the HKwalls festival in Hong Kong as part of the 'EU Street Art Meets Hong Kong' programme, and Treccani published her book 'Taccuini'.
