Biography
Riccardo Lanfranco, known as Corn79, is an Italian urban artist born in 1979 and based in Turin. He started writing in 1996 and soon became one of the most active figures on the Italian graffiti scene, his pieces featured in the leading European magazines of the genre.
From the 2010s onwards he expanded his practice into large-scale muralism, combining lettering, organic shapes and geometric patterns in a dynamic visual language. His palette is clean and contrasted, driving abstract compositions paced by curves and bursts of colour.
He works across Italy and Europe, often within festivals and public projects on environment, sport and urban regeneration. In Turin his collaborations with MrFijodor have become a recurring signature of the local mural landscape.
