Biography
Malujeme Jinak ('We Paint Differently') is a Brno-based art studio founded by Lukáš Veselý and Aleš Veselý, with Filip Veselý as a regular collaborator. Lukáš Veselý graduated in 2010 from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Brno University of Technology. The collective formed around 2009, when the two co-founders began collaborating on mural painting projects.
The studio specialises in large-format public murals, working on buildings, tram bridges, public transport stops and electrical substations across Brno and other Czech cities. Their works combine figurative realism, geometric motifs and strong symbolic elements.
Malujeme Jinak has collaborated with the Brno public transport authority, the Czech railway administration and energy company E.ON as part of the EG.D Street Art project, which decorates South Moravian electricity substations with murals on environmental and social themes.
