Biography
Annatomix is a British muralist based in Birmingham, known for a geometric graphic vocabulary drawn from origami and low-poly art. She breaks animals and figures down into triangular facets, playing on contrasts of light and shadow to give her murals a sculptural depth.
Active since the mid-2010s, she works mainly across the United Kingdom — Birmingham, Manchester, London, Bristol — and takes part in international festivals. Her recurring bestiary features foxes, wolves, owls, fish and hybrid creatures painted in flat oranges, turquoises and pinks, often at monumental scale.
Her Birmingham works punctuate the neighbourhoods of Digbeth, Moseley and Longbridge, where in 2023 she produced two origami foxes almost 5 metres tall for St Modwen Homes, along a future nature and art trail.
