Biography
Monsieur Plus works in paste-up and poster art within an abstract register, with a preference for circular formats. The compositions combine coloured discs, round mosaics, stickers and fragments of poetic text, applied directly to walls, poles and street furniture. The work is recognisable by that simple repeated geometry rather than by any identifiable figure.
The first paste-ups date from 2019 in Montmartre, and the practice has since spread to other districts of the capital. Around thirty pieces are currently listed by collaborative urban art inventories. The generally modest format and scale place this work among the interventions that reveal themselves at eye level, while walking, rather than among large commissioned murals.
