Biography
Malakkai is an illustrator and street artist from Almería who now lives in Copenhagen. He picked up spray paint at the end of 1999 and began painting in the streets in 2000, and he has since split his time between large walls and studio illustration.
His work is built on line and composition: expressive characters, often animals and women, handled with irony, a hint of melancholy and a backstory tied to the site. His walls can be found in Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, China, South Africa and Mexico, from Naples to Djerba and Ciudad Juárez, as well as in La Bañeza, where one of his pieces is listed.
