Virginia Bersabé

Virginia Bersabé was born in Córdoba in 1990 and studied Fine Arts at the University of Seville, where she also completed a master's degree in art. Her work ranges from gouache on paper to large walls and centres on older women: how they inhabit space, and how memory and identity show in their skin and in the things around them. She has been painting murals since the early 2010s.

Her walls can be found in Spain, France, Canada and Kosovo, including Manos de cera in Vigo (2022), Fragments of Utopia in Ferizaj (2023) and a mural in Quebec City (2025). In Andalusia she has led participatory projects with local women, in villages such as El Viso del Alcor and Camas. In 2025 she painted Hogar con paisaje in La Bañeza for the Art Aero Rap festival.
