Biography
Totipote was born in 1985 and lives and works in Saint-Étienne. His name refers to totipotency, the biological ability of a cell to differentiate and organise itself into a living organism, as seen in marine hydras.
As the name suggests, he does not limit himself to one technique: glass engraving, murals, stained glass, drawing and screen printing are all ways of sharing his world.
His line is raw, his colours bold, and his elementary figures are improvised into abstract compositions somewhere between modernism and outsider art. In 2023 he painted two facades in Caen for the Palma festival.
