Biography
Roïd is an English artist. His name takes the last four letters of the word asteroid and reflects his fascination with space.
For twenty-five years he has developed a very personal style that combines razor-sharp letters with abstract geometric shapes. Neon colours add punch to the restrained palettes of his highly technical compositions.
His work draws on technical drawing as much as on technology and science fiction, blending traditional graffiti and abstract illustration into retro-futurist imagery. In 2024 he painted the gable of a building on Rue de Rosel in Caen for the Palma festival.
