Biography
Letters sit at the centre of the work of L'Outsider, an artist from Brittany. He works in series and his style is constantly evolving, with sharply graphic, precise and colourful pieces alongside highly energetic black and white compositions.
He explores the possibilities of an ultra-high-pressure spray can, capturing the energy of the line and isolating textures. The result is spontaneous, gestural and instinctive painting close to action painting.
In 2019 a residency at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Caen allowed him to produce five oversized canvases shown at the Galerie Mancel, as well as two outdoor paintings for the Palma festival.
