Biography
Eliote started out with classic graffiti in the streets and wastelands of Marseille. From those years he kept his speed of execution, his simple constructions and his search for maximum visual impact.
Over time he broke down the structure of his lettering to make way for geometric and abstract shapes. His palette is minimal: a pot of black and a can of white, or the other way round, sometimes with a touch of colour.
To these brutalist forms he adds a few quick, legible lines and effects that sum up galactic landscapes in which letters dissolve into volumes. In 2018 he painted a warehouse in Mondeville for the Palma festival.
