Biography
Born in 1983 and raised in southern Brittany, Arnaud Enroc came to painting through graffiti. Over the years his classic practice led him towards more abstract compositions that leave room for intuition.
His work is built on the letter, the core element of graffiti, which he twists, builds and takes apart. Like a type designer, he constructs letters from precise geometric shapes combined with rougher ones, without making legibility the goal.
He has gradually dropped the codes of graffiti in favour of more instinctive, experimental painting. He painted a house gable in Mondeville, near Caen, for the Palma festival in 2021.
