Biography
After some twenty years of practice, Apôtre moved away from conventional graffiti and its rules, while keeping his curiosity and a genuine love for the city.
Part urban planner, part explorer, the Paris-based artist is drawn to inaccessible, neglected or overlooked places: basements, century-old tunnels, electrical mazes and zinc rooftops. He no longer writes his name on walls but inscribes sentences, which become almost illegible and turn into painting.
His poetry grows out of mental wanderings painted across the city, blurring the line between writing and painting. In 2021 he worked in Caen for the Palma festival.
