Biography
Alfe mostly paints outdoors, in public space. His identity took shape where cultures meet, between New York graffiti masterpieces, Matisse and the comics of Métal Hurlant.
His paintings are often abstract, packed with graphic signs and traces spotted in the street. He makes the most of the physical qualities of his tools, and gesture sits at the heart of his work. The friction between dynamic lines and bright colours produces bold compositions that always seem to be moving.
In 2023 the Palma festival invited him to paint the facade of the Jules Verne high school in Mondeville, near Caen.
