Biography
Alexis Poline has been painting outdoors for many years and regularly practises graffiti with his friends from the Moderne Jazz collective.
He combines shapes and colours he wants to be simple, radical, repetitive and modular. In a playful way he draws boats, planes and landscapes, arranging them into clear, minimal and geometric compositions.
He champions wandering as a way of working, publishing fanzines, painting canvases and making paper garlands, each one a small story. In 2022 the Palma festival invited him to paint a road underpass in Mondeville, near Caen.
