Biography
Gemsa is a graffiti writer and street artist from Toulouse, France. Drawn to graffiti from a young age, he has built a visual world centred on lettering, bright colours and dynamic compositions, and has come to specialise in highly colourful letters.
For about ten years he has worked in primary and secondary schools and taken commissions from private clients and businesses, decorating building facades and children's bedrooms. In July 2019, at the second street art festival in Cazaubon, in the Gers, he painted the name of the Les Tournesols nursery school on its walls.
In July 2026 he took part in the Just Paint festival in Saint-Brieuc. In a covered passage on rue Charbonnerie, he produced a patchwork combining several lettering styles, graffiti drawings and realistic elements.
