Biography
Onsept is a painter and illustrator born in 1981 who lives and works between Paris and Draveil, south of the city. Shaped by hip-hop culture, he took up graffiti and spray paint in the late 1990s. In 2001 he co-founded the NOK collective with friends, painting many walls in France and abroad.
Self-taught, he developed a style that moves between lettering, backgrounds and characters. Since 2008, canvas painting has let him combine brush, plaster coating and aerosol to add relief to his compositions. His figurative world features deconstructed characters, inspired by watching people in Paris, that look at today's world with irony. In 2018 he showed the exhibition "Mondes intérieurs" in Paris.
In 2025, for the Shake Art Festival in Saint-Brieuc, Onsept painted a hybrid fox at 24 rue de la Poissonnerie, opposite the post office.
